Shine exists to help freelancers and small business owners reclaim the joy of working for themselves.
Running a business shouldn't mean drowning in financial admin - it should be inspiring and rewarding. Our app brings banking, invoicing, accounting and admin together in one place, so entrepreneurs can focus on what matters most: growing their business and enjoying the freedom of working for themselves.
We're a multicultural team of over 400 people across France, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. By bringing together leading European fintechs like Shine, Kontist and Tellow, we've built a single, intuitive platform designed for simplicity, speed and accuracy - backed by local, award-winning support.
Your hiring experience matters
Just as we respect our customers' time, we respect yours. Your experience with Shine should feel simple, transparent and genuinely supportive.
If this sounds like somewhere you want to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
👀 The Expenses team at Shine
Our team has a strong track record of delivering high performance and creating significant impact for both our users and the company. To realize our ambitious product roadmap, we require one additional developer.
The Expenses team, part of the Accounting domain, is uniquely positioned to bridge gaps between Shine’s verticals.
Working primarily in Accounting to ensure entrepreneurs have an easy time booking expenses, we also work with the Invoicing and Banking domains to ensure cross-product feature compatibility. We maintain a set of very successful features in the banking product, as well as the new e-invoices feature for the accounting product.
Our team, distributed across Europe and composed of 4 engineers, a Product Manager, a Product Designer and an EM, is focused on maintaining a tightly-knit team culture and on delivering features quickly but safely.
We base our team culture on meeting in person often and discussing ideas to improve our processes and rituals. A fresh pair of eyes is more than welcome! This has allowed us to deliver multiple features used by more than 1 million companies every month.
