👀 The Product Design team at Shine
To stay on course and achieve our Product Design goals, the team consists of around fifteen people divided into four team: Staff Design, Copywriting, Banking and Invoicing & Accounting, which you will be part of.

- The Product Design Invoices & Accounting team, made up of your four future colleagues, working from France, and Denmark.
📋 Your role as a Senior Product Designer
This position is available on a fixed-term contract, for a period of 11 months.
You’ll collaborate closely with other Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to craft seamless user experiences across both web and mobile platforms.
Your primary focus will be on UX/UI improvements — optimizing existing experiences, ensuring consistency, and supporting the implementation of new features.
You’ll work alongside a “product trio team” of three close colleagues to maintain and enhance the overall web experience.
In addition, knowledge of e-invoicing is valuable given the evolving European regulatory landscape and Shine’ presence in markets like France, where it’s becoming mandatory.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyse user feedback and quantitative data to identify areas for improvement
- Conduct UX audits of our current products and competitor apps
- Design and improve user experiences across web and mobile
- Define success metrics and help measure the impact of your work
- Collaborate with our UX’ers and support efforts across markets
- Document your designs clearly to support collaboration and implementation
- Review development work and perform design QA to ensure quality
- Take part in design team rituals like standups and reviews
📍 Job located in Berlin, with possibility of two remote working days per week
🔎 About you
- A Master’s degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience designing for digital products, with a strong background in multi-platform B2B software (web and mobile)
- Knowledge of the invoicing and accounting domain across key markets (France, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands)
- Deep expertise in UI/UX, paired with a solid understanding of business needs and engineering constraints
- Hands-on experience in contributing to and working with design systems
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and the ability to communicate design concepts to stake-holders
- Proven experience designing for multi-platform B2B software (web + mobile)
