👀 The website team at Shine
We’re a small, collaborative, and fun team working on Shine’s websites and we are searching two web developers. You’ll join other developers, designers, and a website manager in an environment where everyone’s voice matters. We have daily standups, weekly refinements, and we balance ownership and ambition with humor and support.
We’re looking to hire two web developers, each dedicated to a specific area:
- One focused on building and growing shine.co — a modern, global fintech website that will expand into multiple countries in the coming years.
- One responsible for shine.fr — ensuring it runs smoothly, is continuously improved, and evolves in line with business needs.
📋 Your role as a Web Developer
As a Web Developer, you’ll take an essential role in shaping our websites, helping us build new features and maintain existing ones in a fast-paced, ambitious environment. You’ll work with Strapi and Next.js at the heart of our stack, collaborating closely with designers and marketing to deliver high-quality, performant, and user-focused web experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining components and pages for the websites using Next.js / Gatsby, React, and Strapi / Prismic
- Ensuring responsiveness, performance, accessibility, and SEO standards across the website
- Fixing bugs, implementing styling adjustments, and contributing to larger-scale projects like new navigation or collection types
- Building new slices, page types, and features in collaboration with designers and marketers
- Taking ownership of features from idea to production and continuously improving the platform
- Growing into a Strapi Subject Matter Expert, leading its use across shine.co
📍 Job located in Gdańsk or Copenhagen, with possibility of two remote working days per week
🔎 About you
- Specific skills for shine.fr :
- Experience with Gatsby and GraphQL
- Hands-on experience with Prismic or similar headless CMS (Strapi, Sanity, Contentful)
- Specific skills for Shine.co :
- Experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, API routes)
- Hands-on experience with Strapi or similar headless CMS (Contentful, Prismic, Sanity)
- Global skills :
- 2+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong React skills (hooks, state management, component architecture)
- Proficiency in Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 (or CSS-in-JS) and JavaScript
- Fluent in English
- Problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
- Adaptable, curious, collaborative, reliable, and user-oriented
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with Material UI (MUI) or other design systems
- Knowledge of analytics, tracking, SEO best practices, and accessibility
- Experience with cross-browser/device testing
