You will join our Accounting & Financial Controlling team in Copenhagen, working closely with Vianka, Stefan, our new hire in France, and reporting to Melanie (Manager, Accounting). You’ll step into a dynamic, collaborative environment where we support each other through busy periods and continuously improve our processes.

Your Role as a Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial data, and contributing to smooth month-end and year-end closing processes.

Your tasks will include:

• Daily financial bookkeeping and bank reconciliation
• Accounts payable management, pre-registration, and payment
• Reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable
• Month-end reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, quarterly/annual closing reports, and audit preparation
• Contributing to process improvements and internal controls
• Providing backup for colleagues during holidays or sick leave

🔎 About You

You’re an experienced accounting professional with strong technical skills and an eye for detail. You take ownership of your work, are structured, and enjoy working in an international setting.

Must-have skills & experience:

• Relevant education in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (not an entry-level position)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable
• Month-end closing and reconciliation experience
• Proficiency with accounting systems (preferably Business Central/Navision)
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Nice-to-have skills:

• Other language skills (not mandatory)
• Experience in international companies
