The Banking Projects & Providers team ensures that our Banking Provider eco-system (SaaS solutions) is aligned with the strategic ambitions of Ageras, we also help lead strategic projects for the Banking product within our key markets.

📋 Your role as a Strategic Project Manager

As a Strategic Project Manager, you’ll help drive key initiatives to support and improve our banking products. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll contribute to the development of our provider ecosystem and lead important cross-functional projects. It’s a hands-on role with real impact in a growing European FinTech group.

Your responsibilities will include:

1) Project Management

• Study new opportunities resulting in the delivery of a note/recommendation to the C-Team
• Coordination with Product & Tech and other stakeholders for the implementation of new initiatives. Notably the interface with providers and the contractualisation of the new service.
• Drive key strategic projects for the Banking & Compliance department and the wider Banking scope

2) Provider Management

• Follow-up with Banking Providers, ensuring adherence to our regulatory requirements on externalised services
• Selection of new providers for new projects. This involves the identification of potential partners, analysis of each prospect and coordinating the commercial/contractual discussions

3) Other Subjects

• Provide ad-hoc support to support teams on Banking products, sharing expertise obtained on the different projects/providers

📍 Job located in Berlin, with possibility of two remote working days per week

🔎 About you

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in banking partnerships, project management, or financial services development.
• You have a solid understanding of the banking ecosystem: compliance, SEPA flows, card systems, and key rulebooks.
• You're familiar with retail financial products: cards, SEPA transfers, credit, insurance, PSD2 APIs...
• You've led product launches or transformation projects involving multiple stakeholders (both internal and external).
• You're detail-oriented when it comes to project execution and deliverables, while keeping a strategic overview.
• You're a great listener, a clear communicator, and you adapt easily to different personalities.
• You're confident in contract and commercial negotiations.
• You're highly organized, solution-driven, and a strong team player.
• You're fluent in English — it's our daily working language
